Information about the Confederate Veteran's Birth is entered in the following section of the entry form:

Date of Birth: Year, Month and Day. "unknown" is supported in each field so partial information can be entered. Year should be the four digit number such as "1861." Birth Year can be used as a search term.

Birth Location: City, County, State and Country. Abbreviations for State should be used, for example GA. Country should be left blank if USA or CSA. Country is reserved to properly register the birth location ofr veterans who were born in other countries. All fields can be used as search entries.
